Pistas estatísticas e influências morfossintáticas na aquisição de perguntas com sintagma-QU em português brasileiro

Resumo
Em português brasileiro (PB), o movimento-QU em perguntas de constituinte é supostamente opcional. Se esse for o caso, é de se esperar que a estratégia em que o elemento QU permanece in situ seja mais frequente no início do desenvolvimento linguístico infantil, já que, de acordo com a análise adotada aqui, ele demandaria menos operações derivacionais. Sikansi (1999) e Grolla (2000, 2009) apontam, todavia, que a criança raramente produz a construção, apesar de ela ser frequente na fala adulta (Lopes-Rossi, 1996; Oushiro, 2010). Em vista dessa assimetria, o presente estudo visa a examinar a produção do QU-in situ por adultos e crianças a partir da coleta de dados naturalísticos. O corpus analisado inclui cerca de 154 horas de gravação, contendo perguntas-QU produzidas por 4 crianças em processo de aquisição de PB como primeira língua, com idades entre 1;02.28 e 5;06.07, e 23 adultos com os quais elas interagiam (corpus Santana-Santos). Os resultados sugerem que a estrutura não é tão produtiva na fala dirigida à criança como na fala entre adultos; e a criança parece seguir as pistas estatísticas deixadas pelo input, com a estratégia QU-in situ compreendendo menos de 2% de sua produção de perguntas-QU.
