Intercâmbio virtual no cenário de internacionalização da educação superior brasileira: uma revisão de estudos

Resumo
Este artigo apresenta os resultados de uma revisão de estudos com foco em Intercâmbio Virtual (IV) no contexto do Ensino Superior brasileiro, publicados entre 2013-2024, a fim de entender essa iniciativa de modo local/nacional e situado. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa e exploratória realizada por meio de levantamento bibliográfico em plataformas de pesquisa para selecionar e analisar os textos identificados. Foram encontrados 110 trabalhos, os quais foram examinados, considerando as seguintes categorias temáticas: i) a natureza da escrita dos textos; ii) tipos de IV e nomenclaturas institucionais específicas; iii) internacionalização, o período pandêmico e pós-pandêmico; iv) variedade de IVs; v) uso da língua nos IV; vi) suporte para as iniciativas de IV e planejamento das tarefas; vii) potencialidades e viii) desafios. Os resultados evidenciam que o IV tem tido potencial cada vez mais crescente para impulsionar a internacionalização das instituições de ensino superior brasileiras, pois ele representa variedade e possibilidade de colaboração internacional. Apesar do destaque dado às potencialidades identificadas nas iniciativas de IV, os estudos analisados também reconhecem os seus desafios, salientando, assim, a importância de posturas e perspectivas críticas em sua implementação.
