Abstract

Teaching Portuguese and Literature is based on literacy practices, which involve the creation of socially, historically and culturally constructed meanings. Allied to this, there is the use of new technologies, with electronic texts, word processing, hypertext, and multimedia. Through the research project: “Mosaic of Texts: Literary Literacy in teaching Portuguese and Foreign Languages”, at Farroupilha Federal Institute, Panambi campus, a partnership is established with the University of Minho, Portugal. Thinking about the students’ needs and interests from both institutions, practices were developed aiming at creating interactive fiction, using the Twine application. The experience presented interesting and meaningful results that started from the textual reception and continued with textual production of open access narratives that allow the reader to make decisions and choices along the developing and narrative’s closure.
