Abstract

This article, a fragment of a doctoral research, investigates the use of virtual learning environment (VLE) as a space for interaction and collaboration for teachers in training and aims at pointing out which evidence of the conditions for complex emergency, proposed by Davis and Simmt (2003) and Davis and Sumara (2006), exist in the interactions. The complexity perspective is adopted for data analysis. The study has characteristics of a qualitative research and virtual ethnography (HINE, 2000). The data shows that the conditions for complex emergency were observed in the investigated group, in an interrelated way, contributing to stability, coherence and balance of the system.
